Our Areas of Expertise

Composite Decking

Composite Decking is totally water and rot proof, resistant to mould, fungi and other traditional problems facing timber decking. Made using a combination of wood and plastic, it is easily maintained with either a pressure cleaner or just soapy water for durability that lasts for years.

IPE Hardwood Decking

Ipe Decking, also known as the Rolls Royce of hardwood decking is often used for high end commercial projects where the customer is looking for a luxury finish. The choice of many architecture firms across the UK, IPE decking is durable and built to last.

Balau Hardwood Decking

Yellow Balau Decking (pronounced Bal-Ow) is a dense Malaysian hardwood with a smooth texture. It is extremely durable, resilient and has natural resistance to fungi and decay. It is a very low maintenance option and can be kept in great condition with minimal effort.

Softwood Decking

Softwoods, such as pine, are less expensive than composites and hardwoods, but less durable. Because they are easier to work with they take less time to lay and so fitting costs are lower in addition to the cost savings made on materials.

Patio

Paving provides a solid, low-maintenance surface ideal for patios, walkways, and outdoor entertaining areas. Available in various materials and finishes, it suits both modern and traditional landscape designs.

Decking

Decking introduces warmth and elevation to outdoor spaces, making it perfect for creating zones for dining or relaxing. It blends seamlessly with natural surroundings and works well on uneven terrain.

Where to start? From start to finish by far the best experience I’ve had with a contractor. Gilroy and Gary did a great job building our shed base, patio, pavement and composite decking. No job or request was too big for them. Always punctual and worked hard no matter the weather (mid February, so wet and cold). Will definitely use in the future and would recommend to anyone looking for reliable hard working people.

Gilroy and his team were brilliant from start to finish. Listening to our ideas and bringing them to life. Our garden turned out exactly how we wanted it. They were extremely professional; turning up on time and keeping to schedule. Importantly for London, they were also thoughtful towards our neighbours, making sure no disruption was caused. I highly recommend them.

Gilroy and his team have helped me transform my garden into the beautiful sanctuary that I have always wanted! It has been a journey of almost 18 months during which I changed my mind endless times, but not only did we get there in the end, but the result far exceeds my expectations. Gilroy and Natasha were incredibly understanding and patient all throughout the process, even to the point of refunding me my deposit when I pulled out of a scheduled project. Gilroy’s attention to detail is equal to mine, which is saying a lot. Nothing is too much trouble and Gilroy stands by his work.

I used the services of Gilroy and his team this summer for a full garden renovation. My garden is 130ft long so it was a large project. From the first meeting Gilroy put me at ease, sharing ideas, listening to my vision and helped to create it. I had a hard deadline for a large party which he understood. Gilroy worked late into the evenings and even came on weekends to ensure the project was finished on time.
My new garden is amazing. A real social space and I couldn’t have created it without Gilroy and his team. I’ve already recommended him to several people and will gladly recommend him to others.

So pleased we had Gilroy replace our old decking. It has made a huge difference to our garden. Gilroy made my hazy vision come to life and delivered what I wanted. Time keeping was faultless. Tasha was fantastic at keeping my updated. Clean workmen and amazing workman ship. My only gripe is not getting my lawn done at the same time but that’s in the horizon. Recommend all day long.
